Join us for an opportunity to learn from trans community members and discussions that highlight law and mental health approaches to gender affirmative care, led by experienced clinicians specialized in LGBTQIA+ mental health and legal professionals specializing in legal issues in our community. This program's topics will include: • Competency knowledge, from basics and beyond, to help you become more confident and competent working with and supporting trans individuals in your organization or practice. • Available options for clients seeking trans related legal services such as legal name changes, gender markers and other legal matters. • Challenges with access to medical and behavioral healthcare for transgender/gender expansive people and other marginalized groups. • Resources and community programs available to trans clients and their families.
