This video covers 1.5 units of training required by California Rules of Court, Rule 5.242 for continuing (total of 8 units required) and new Minors Counsel (12 units).

Discussion Includes: Consideration of Children's Wishes; Child's Participation in Proceedings; Preparing Children for Family Court Services or Judicial Interview.

This program has been approved for participatory credit in 1.5 units Family Law Specialization Credit (Custody of children, including advice of re-evaluation and custody mediation and litigation skills pertaining to expert and percipient witness) and 1.5 units MCLE credit in General Law.
